Hi, I’m Tom Caldwell, the founder of FreePrizeDraws.co.uk, and I’ll be honest with you—I’m a massive LEGO nerd. I’ve been hooked on those little bricks since I was a kid, and that love hasn’t faded one bit over the years. In fact, it’s only grown. I’ve got an entire room in my house dedicated to LEGO, with display cabinets filled to the brim with some of my favourite sets, from classic builds to the more intricate, detailed ones that keep me busy for hours.

My wife Linda likes to joke that I spend more time with my LEGO than with her, and while she’s mostly joking, there might be a bit of truth to that! She’s not too thrilled about the space my collection takes up, but our grandkids absolutely love it. Well, they love looking at it. I don’t let them get too close to my best models—especially the more complex ones like the Eiffel Tower (10,001 pieces) or the Colosseum (9,036 pieces). There are certain things even grandkids can’t touch!

So, why LEGO? Well, there’s just something about the creativity and precision that comes with every build. Whether I’m working on a complex modular building or a nostalgic set from the ‘80s, it takes me right back to being a kid and getting lost in the possibilities of what I could create. Plus, there’s always a new set or theme to get excited about. I guess you could say it’s my way of staying young!
